Favorite music?

You&#039;ll find that I&#039;m a really chatty person and love to talk. One of the things that I like to talk about most is music. <br /><br />I&#039;ve recently fallen in love with a band called &quot;Apocalyptica&quot; They&#039;re a heavy metal group, but with a twist. Instead of guitars, the use Cellos, which, in my opinion, is awesome. <br /><br />Here&#039;s my currently favorite song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUnNhOwKi-8<br /><br />Let me know what type of music you like. I&#039;m open and listen to ANYTHING! I&#039;d love to get a conversation out of some people here.<br /><br />P.S. I love some of Joel Goldsmith&#039;s work, especially the Atlantis theme song. It&#039;s beautiful!

I&#039;m bigoted with music in general. Half of what I hear I think is trash...personally find myself drifting towards classical or older music but I do have some personal favourite todays. Rarely get anchored in one genre though.. excluding classical.

It&#039;s alright. I preferred the old brooding Goa&#039;uld music and all their theme tunes with the deep trombones and things (I think).

I love, mostly old, rock. The older, the better in most of the cases xD And I like blues and jazz.<br /><br />My favorite all-time band is Pink Floyd. Good songs to start off when listening to Pink Floyd are - Stay, Wish You Were Here, High Hopes, What Do You Want From Me, Money, of course everyone knows Another Brick In The Wall part II. Once you start digging their style a must-listen songs are Comfortably Numb, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Dogs, Atom Heart Mother, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, Echoes, etc. Too many to name really :P

Classical music, opera, Jazz, the occasional pop song, and I absolutely love Gregorian.

My music brother has already posted about Pink Floyd. I&#039;m all about the old school rock and what not, my lecturer was quite taken aback the other day when we were marking undergrad tests and he looked over to my screen and saw I was listening to Beethoven&#039;s 9th while marking.<br /><br />I&#039;m into most music, I don&#039;t stand much with pop and rap though although the odd song can be fun, Ludakris for example. It depends on the situation really, I don&#039;t listen to one genre religiously because that&#039;s pointless.<br /><br />Currently I keep playing [i]Enjoy the silence[/i] by Depeche Mode over and over again.

Not to sound like a dead zombie, but I much enjoy Country Music and bands that play using acoustic guitars rather than electric.

A lot of different performers in different genres are good fits for certain moods.

I like country and I checked out that song by Depeche Mode. I liked that song when i first heard it, but never knew the name. It&#039;s a good song, but ironic in a way. it&#039;s about silence, yet, the song itself, is far from silent. :)
