I don't know. It has its downsides, but over all it's a necessary aspect to the game. Agreed, it can be very annoying, but there's really no way around it; Without it we would have multi jaffa bombs and new people being reset by wallet lords, and with it we have people not being able to hit people and super bad glitches. There is no winning, but there needs to be some sort of protection in place.
I think shadowing should change it so that anyone within 20k networth of each other can hit each other, and if an alliance member gets attacked they can be helped out by their alliance.

There is 3 bugs atm that im fixing with the protection system.
Infiltration issue
ally reinforcing issue
unable to attack a player back when reinforcing an ally when they get attacked even when the attacker is with in their net worth range.

Shhhaaaaad up Z3r0. It would be easier if he just increased the percentage like someone with 20k Net Worth can hit 10k belower, or Higher rather than 3k.

Seeing how the status thing is still frozen I say bring it back and make the protection so you can only attack within one of your status.
BOOM! Fixed!
No multi bombs for strong people and Vice versa.

I say, when an alliance is attacked, the protection then is nulled for allies to help retaliate.

LOL Than people are just going to keep low status' or have people take their status from them so that they can hit lower people... It's a good idea, but it would never work just because some people like to go around the rules(To be clear, this is not a poke at zero no matter how tempting it is. I think I'm over that now).
I've explained what I'm taking about to zero before, that in a game like this there's no way to make it perfect. I have a good reason, but I'm responding to zero and we've already talked about how to improve it many times.

My point is to get it closer to perfect than what it is. some people suck at math and if you bring back status there will be more attacking, and if you base it around status, not networth then it will be easier for people to understand and it would have less bugs.
More attacking means more losses, more losses means more people getting mad, mad people spend a stupid amount of money to retaliate.
My plan is win-win for you shadowing.
less work, less math, more money.

Yah I'm thinking of enabling the alliance war system back and it would work just like everyone has been saying here. Protection wouldn't matter
