Does anyone feel that this advance technology is to under powered? As in its not worth points in it or maybe we need to add another thing this tech does.

mines should do damage, not alot but something similar or smaller than the gate tech

there is already staff turrets for that

Just had an idea, what if you max 10 points into an advanced tech you get a bonus for putting a full 10 points into that tech?

but stargate defences add to staff weapon defence, but only jaffa can go through portals, all ship types have to go through the mines? so what im trying to say is that a minefield should do some damage just like the stargate defence does?
