For people with a high dominion level say 4 or 5 maybe 6 and above. Paid packages say $10 for 1000 resources and Naq and some ground unit's. $25 For 2500 resources and Naq some ground units and say a glider. $50 for 5000 resources and Naq, ground units and a few death gliders. What do you think? good idea, bad idea?

I could stand here all day and list the billion and one reason why this is a bad idea...

All I feel like saying is this: Games that Have Micro-Transactions... are bad games.

I'll be the first to admit, that there are things about it that are bad but the people with higher dominion levels are complaining that they do not get any of the 'advantages' that the lower players are getting.. it's either this or shadowing could do something for said people with higher dominion levels

Okay.. First, Why would high levels want to PAY for advantages that lower ones seem to be getting for free.

Second: What are you smoking, and can you send me the dealers phone number?

considering how everything gets nerfed if a high lvl player gets ir or buy it, then it would not be usefull to buy stuff anyway since it would be nerfed

believe me for a game its not good, I been playing gatewars for many many years that has micro transactions and believe me when I say this it ruins the game.

u will get most people quit who don't have big wallets as they cannot keep up with the big $ spenders trust me I been playing for years and my account is tiny still as I don't spend much $ on it.

I think maybe only thing that could be used here that wont piss people off and will help game owner make money bck for game and is a slight advantage Is maybe you could buy a week protection, it wont boost you at all unfairly but will give players a slight chance if there getting pounded, however it would have to be limited to like 1 or 2 a month to stop just living on protection.

I agree. I am one of those people who can afford to pump $$$ into a game and I could buy 100's $$ worth of resource, but the game is good as it is.

Yes, the free ppts given to new players is a bit of a kick in the teeth, as I think I may of modified my points set up and some of those starters have bigger armies than some of the more established players already.

But $$ is not an option

I see where you're coming from Zippacna but I think what a lot of people like about the game so far is that it's not pay to play (and thus the larger wallet doesn't always win the day).

And hey, there are definitely days I wish I could hand Shadowing 50 bucks and get myself a mothership but I think we're all better off for not being able to do that :p

As far as I know Shadowing does not want a micro transaction game. At least not for res and naq. He hinted that later on in the game there would be some buyable things, but only things which do not have an impact on the game. (I don't know which items this could be)

i think there are many players out there who are willing to pay for some advantages but i dont like that in games.

no real money for advantages in the game!!!

transactions for customization would be okay for me, because those who are not willing to pay anything but the normal prize of the game will not be disadvantaged.
