If a planet is sieged by an ally, instead of red it could be blue/green/orange...

Don’t really agree with that. No flag (no ownership) no Color change ally or enemy. That info should be made available in the (your) alliance forum. The Color should always be the same in game. Keeps people guessing and on their toes.
