Theres someone that has jumped from a lower lvl than the main ppl in dominion lvl to lvl 9...<br /><br />I couldnt figure out how he did it but it occurred to me that if he attacked a bigger dom lvl person then he could quickly move up the levels.<br /><br />I tested out the multiplier as he is 2 levels above myself and I killed 8k of his crucibles, and got 16% exp... That is a lot of exp for only killing 8K units..<br /><br />Can you just look into it and if there is a bit too much exp being given?<br /><br />If he got to level 9 by constantly attacking ppl, then fair play to him but it is a bit suddenly jumping 2 levels higher than the biggest ppl

I have no idea what level Matei was at so I just gave him level 7.<br /><br />if a level 7 attacks a level 7 and kills 8k crucibles they would get 800 xp<br /><br />if a level 7 attacked a level 9 and kileld 8k crucibles they would get 848xp or so.<br />so that part is working correctly. I need to talk to maeti and see what he did to do it.<br />It has nothing to do with attacking a higher level though. You only get 3 percent more xp for each higher level. Maybe he sucided and has no army now?<br /><br />the bug happend on the handicap i gave players below level 6. I placed a cap on that just now. but I dont know im thinking he just killed alot of men and he wasnt below level 6. The entire leveling system is on a massive handy cap for alpha testing reasons though.<br /><br />so doughy if you killed 48000 crucibles you would hit level 8 dominion. If 8000 is giving you 16 percent.<br /><br />Training grounds are going to be massivly nerfed soon. I may even get rid of training grounds or change what they do.<br /><br />Maybe i should put a cap on how much exp someone can get on a single attack.<br />For some reason im not happy with the whole dominion level process for how many planets a player can own.

I like the concept of dominions but if your not happy on the dominions with planets, why not have it on dominion means how large an army you can get on kills? <br /><br />ie maybe you can only have 1 jaffa per 1 slave, but with extra dom lvl you can get 10% extra army size. <br /><br />Benefits, you need to attack ppl to increase your army size above others, but with attacking ppl, you will temp lower your army size so easier pickings.<br /><br />You may think this is caping the army sizes but the worlds are constantly increasing in size so we will eventually end game have 10mil slaves each. So that means could get 20mil army power. Means tech is more important, working with people, if taking other peoples planets is more important as will mean they cant replace their army to max etc...<br /><br /><br />ps I dont see a point in barracks really

Thats a interesting idea dougy<br /><br />I meant to say training grounds not barracks lol.<br /><br />well im trying something new in the game with agents that will go along with needing certain buildings to build certain units.<br /><br />Agents will beable to disable a planets barracks, shipyard, pyramid for a duration of time.

Btw there should be a cap on rises in dominion levels, I just made someone jump 2 levels accidently.<br />fair enough the 1 jump and it was a big battle but 2...<br /><br />I gained 4k exp from the battle and <br /><br />You killed 86098 Crucibles warriors, 1434 Jaffa soldiers, 11 Staff Cannons, 1 Death Glider and 3 Staff Turrets on the planet.<br /><br />I know I lost the battle but I killed this much stuff and only got 4k... he gained 14k exp from 140k crucibles.<br /><br />Idea is that he either gains max twice my exp or I gain half his exp. and having only 1 level up each battle<br /><br />ps. we were both lvl 7 in this battle, now im still lvl 7 and hes lvl 9...

Well he jumped up 2 levels cuase the entire leveling setting is set on a handi cap.<br /><br />The way dominino points work<br /><br />If you win<br /><br />You gain 10 percent points to how many defense points you kill.<br />It will subtract 5 percent for every lower level. -- this has been disabled atm since its set to you cant gain xp from lower levels at all.<br /><br />If you attack a higher level player you get 3 percent more for every level that is higher then yours.<br /><br /><br />If you lose the fight you get 3 percent of the defense points you killed. <br /><br />If the player you lose to is higher level then you. you will get 3 percent more for every level higher.<br /><br />It was really hard to determind what to set all these settings at with out running the game through alpha testing. I really needed to see how the game plays out.

I still like my suggestion with the army size on doms level.<br /><br />Can I suggest you set it so that there is only 7 planets per person on average in the game in the real one, and keep the cap at 10 to encourage wars.<br /><br />Can I ask why you changed the crucibles output? (partly selfish as I was getting an advantage old way)

cause it was just to many men lol per cycle. As it sits now with the change a level 10 training grounds you would get 1440 crucibles every 24 hours on just 1 planet.<br /><br />Ya i plan to keep planet max at 10. Any more then 10 it would just get rediclous and the game out of hand. Plus maintaining that many planets would just stink.<br /><br />I want to focus more on war now for the game.

I&#039;ve been thinking for a while about the problem that may occur at level 10.&nbsp; What is the incentive to attack people and what is stopping people from attacking them...<br /><br />when everyone has level 10. How are we going to stop people having planets, we are going to have to abandon one of our planets and then take over their planet. Then decide to abandon it and retake our planet or keep it. <br /><br />I suggest an option of not having to abandon one of your planets then taking it over etc....<br />Call it &quot;liberating&quot;. So you can liberate the planet you are currently seiging which means you slaves takeover and no-one has control of the planet and all the structures slaves etc are in place. <br /><br /><br />This also will help solve the problem of people only have 1 huge army together, people will have to space out their forces or someone will just come along and liberate 9 of your planets barely losing any troops.<br /><br />Evidently liberating should not cost as much in troops so 5% jaffa to take over a planet 2% to liberate.
