Welcome Byrnes.

In brief, the game is active enough to play but would be better with more players. The game is stable and bugs are minimal. Enhancements are added on a very regular basis. Currently the biggest focus is the mobile interface for ipads and smartphones. The goal is to have that done prior to PAX which is a major gaming convention where the game will be heavily promoted.

Either way it's a lot of fun. The game is PERFECT if you work full-time AND can check the internet at work, or if you are a full-time student. The game is not ideal if you are away 8+ hours at a time without checking, unless you are in a strong ally.

For new players, I strongly suggest Chulak server. It is newer and better in many ways; however, the game operator labeled it as "hard" which I disagree with.

Thank you very much for the break down of the game i play off my phone so sorry if my typing is horrible my phone sucks but im in the army amd i have my phone on me all the time so i should be on alot again thank you very much

welcome to the game dude.

I strongly disagree with chulak being better to play on, I think you should learn to play on abydos server first as its more relaxed, chulak is faster pace so you will grow faster but you will get smashed faster, a lot of players like me are aggressive and will take your stuff there if you get into our range and make it profitable for us to take it.

Abydos has a lot more players on and has been running for a long time so a lot of the main players already have all the stuff they want so wont bother you as much, only people your strength will bother you.

try out both servers and play anyway, you will get more experience faster on both servers.
