ok it says i have 300% more stargate defense and it says per every point i put in i would have 5k more defense so does that 300% add on to the over all defense of the stargate like say if i have 100 points in stargate and it adds up to 500k defense does that 300% make it 1.5 mil defense ?

What do you mean? Are you talking about stargate defence buildings? They work in a weird way, the add onto your base defence as far as I know; so if you want to have a lot of gate defence you need a lot of staff turrets on top of those gate defence buildings.

The stargate defence is now separate to the staff turrets defence. If you get attacked through the stargate, you get an extra 5000 def per stargate level. And if you get attacked by ship, then you get an extra 5000 def per staff turret level.
