I believe this is the best starting strategy and will power new players up fast.

Good job mate.

A little addition:
You want to do it in exactly that order.
Dont take over the second planet before you have build up your first one.
Taking over more planets increases the costs of buildings as you can see in the video the costs for a building after taking another planet was 10 and not 7 anymore.
