Buying Stock

I'm unable to buy stock in alliances at the moment. It gives me the option to sell (which doesn't help) but not to buy. I thought the problem might be that I didn't have any GC. But then I did some resource conversion, have 2.0 GC's, and it still won't let me buy even the cheapest of alliance stock. Any idea what the problem is?

its 1 of 2 reasons, if your in the alliance you cant buy stock, and now with the current settings no one can buy a stock in an alliance until its value is equal to or higher then 2.0 Galactic Credits, so currently there is only one alliance that you can buy at 2.98 per, currently mine is just below the 2.0 mark at 1.97
