Millions of dollars have been invested on the servers that 26horses Productions uses and are getting a huge upgrade. Our server is now ran on a two Intel Sandy Bridge E5-2670 processor. Each E5-2670 enjoys 20 MB of cache and has 8 cores running at 2.6 Ghz. Also upgraded to the latest generation of the enterprise-grade hard disk drives doubling their cache, increasing their port speed, and decreasing latency and access time. All hardware is less then a year old.
So what does this all mean for you?
With several terabytes of band width 26horses Productions games and sites will beable to with stand several hundred thousand players. Providing extremely large game communities of all of 26horses productions projects
