I think this is awesome!! I have been wanting more Stargate since well, before it stopped airing. I am an undieing fan and can't wait to play the game. I also signed up for the beta of Stargate Worlds and was very upset that it didn't get finished. I look forward to playing Stargate Systemlords. Hopefully it will get a following big enough to get them to make the three movies that they have shelved and hopefully even to where they make more SG-1 series. I would love to see it come back or even to see more spin-offs (just not like universe, it was not the same).

agreed, I signed up for the beta testing of it and then it didn't even launch. I can't wait to play this one. I have been looking forward to a stargate game even before they cancelled the series.

Yeah I got a late start into the whole SG world. I saw the movie in a theatre when it came out. And for some reason I didn't really enjoy the movie that much. Years past, and I some how got an itch to watch SGA up to the last season, and was like, NOOO why you get canceled :( Then I watched SGU and was like woah this is pretty good and OFC they leave you with a cliff hanger of an ending, as obviously, there were plans to let you know tal lak happened. I am sure there is tons of fan fic about what they think happened. Then after all this I decided to dive into the SG-1 series, and was also blown away. The first few episodes were a little slow but makes sense as they do a good job transitioning you from the way the movie ended into the series, which I appreciated. And then I watched all the way up to the last season of that too. I watched the Ark of Truth and the other movie, so I pretty much have seen everything Stargate there is.
My only regret is that I couldn't support them sooner when they are on TV. I can hope that all the traffic they are getting through Netflix is spurning a come back, because it really is an interesting series. Long story short, after all this I knew there had to be a game or two about the series, and then was uber disappointed to find they all got cancelled. I would of bought any number of them had I been into it at the time, if only I could go through a Stargate during a solar flare event and go back in time to play a few of them before the plugs were pulled. Anywho, I signed up for Beta and thought it might be an auto acceptance thing, but guess I have to wait until I randomly get selected.
On a side note, if you need an ASP scripter let me know, although I have a feeling you are doing PhP to save on the Microsoft server costs so you can use some form of Unix. I use to have a game called Ravewars until the host I was using went under and I decided to do other projects. Hope to see you guys in game, "indeed".
