The goauld are snakes... not humans.
I choose Ra. The first Supreme System Lord. The example for all the others.

Ra was not the first Supreme System Lord. He was the 3rd.

Apep was first, Anubis second, Ra third, Anubis 4th and Baal/Anubis 5th.

In the SG1 series, the supreme system lord is only RA. APEP (Apophis) is the brother and enemy of Ra but only a powerfull System Lord like Cronus and the others.
Later in the series, Anubis take control over the system lords but by force... not by recognition.
Same with Baal.
The only original first Supreme System Lord was RA. (Ra in egypt is the supreme GOD of SUN)  ;D

As my screen name states, my favourite system lord is Zipacna, and before we disagree about this, Zipacna rose to a system lord status after Apophis was killed (for the final time). He did destroy a whole Tok'ra base you know.

But he did have a bit of a weird dress sense. In Skaras trial he looked a right plum. He never looked quite as intimidating as Sokar.

How he must of been kicking himself lol

If I was me, I would of fed his fashion team to the Unas.

I had a good chat to Peter Williams (Apophis) when I was at a stargate convention.

He asked me who my favourite SL was and I said Apohis, and he said, good choice, I would of had my first prime deal with you if not.

Funny guy.

Also Ronan Dex was there. I was standing next to him in a bar and he was massive.
