How long do temp chat ban last? lol

I was cleaning my keyboard and got temp chat banned... -.- lol

Chat bans as far as I know are chat bans. Try to talk in chat and it normally shows how long you are banned for

It's impossible. I hate it. It's evil. It's astonishing. I want to kiss it to death.

Ok, if you get temp chat ban, leave the game for 5 mins then come back... :) My only time I will smile...

There is two types of chat bans.

One is a few minutes long it prevents spamming the chat. So if you send to many messages to often it will ban you for just a few minutes. Think its 8 or 5 minutes. Talking normally should never trip it. Haven't had any complaints with it. Its been in the game for 5 months now. The spam chat was put into effect to prevent someone spamming chat in a troll like manner. In case a moderator doesn't catch it fast enough.

The other one is if a moderator bans you from chat. which is I think is a 24 hour ban. That one will tell you how long you are ban for.

So since it didn't tell you the time left on your ban it was from spamming to many messages to fast.
