Have you tried attacking or infiltrating any one yet? I don't remember if it works in this game, but often you can end protection early by attacking.

There are two types of protection.

1. New player / paid protection. This appears as orange text below planets under the "status" and says "Under Protection". This protection lasts 5 days.

2. There is networth protection which says "Protected" in red text to the right of planet names. This protection is not "ended" unless you enter the proper networth range of the target.

Has it been 5 days? Are you sure your protection falls under the first option? If so, please advise and you can exit that protection early, although it is not advisable.

You will be fine exiting protection early as a new player... I did it myself.

As a new player, you want to take planet after planet and build them up as much as possible during your 5 days. Being protected is a luxury others have to pay for. Most of the galaxy will not be in your nw range anyway.

The only reason for you to end protection early is if you have researched the galaxy and have found planets owned by inactive players and you wish to attack them. It requires a lot of time to gather such information and rarely applies.

If you still wish to end protection then go to MENU > ACCOUNT tab and at the bottom you will see the option.
