whenever i see a planet where it says they are undersiege and they only have one jaffa on it i can't help but think "really a planet of 100000 is being controlled by one jaffa" i would like to suggest that units smaller than motherships take damage based on the planet population like maybe one jaffa every time the planet would produce 3 naq. this way players can't just attack with a mothership leave a jaffa and recall their mothership

I would support something of this sort, maybe you need 1 jaffa per 0.1% of the population, so thats only 100jaffa per seiged planet on a 100K planet.

But im not too fussed, the show has shown that planets taken over by goauld will continue to follow their god even without any jaffa on the planet.

I get what you are saying is for realism. Mostly I leave one because I want the owner to be able to kick me off with no real damage to each other. Taking it away for realism wouldn't make the game any "realer" anyways.

yes but it will also prevent players from leaving one on every planet a player owns and just leaving them for days so that the person can't do anything and the attacker isn't hindered in any way. for case study see deus or lastdoctor

I agree.. (any ideas on minimums> i say 500 Jaffa or several other combo's)

i would also like if jaffa left sieging a planet would occasionally be killed (by accedents or attempted rebellion) that way a player cant just leave jaffa on a planet and siege it indefinably
