Hey guys,
So, out or the Ships in SG, I really like Destiny the most, and then the daedalus. Prometheus was just too... bulky for me, even though it was their first starship. Destiny held/holds so many secrets that are untouched. Just because destiny isn't a seed ship, doesn't mean it can't have a Stargate factory on it, considering the low occupation of humans aboard, and their countless attempts to search the ship. Too put reality to the test, if I had the choice of being in and Stargate season as real life, it would be SGU. It's something about an Ancient ship sent out from earth millions of years before they built the City Ship (Which by the way, wormhole travel for the city ship === WOW) or the replicators to kill the wraith.

I've always wanted to make a 3D game based on Destiny, as you could put what ever you wanted to in the unexplored areas... within reason. And who wouldn't want a ship that is powered by plasma from within a star. That would have to be a big feat for them. I could see why they wouldn't use it as a power source for say their city ship... "We are about to fly to our nearest star and recharge, everyone pray there are no wraith hive ships around" :)

What are your favorite vessels in the SG univers.

As far as I know all the earth ships have ultimately been upgraded to include all the asgard technology. Personally I would have to say Anubis' mothership is my personal favourite, followed by the X304's.

An Asgard Computer Core was installed on the Daedalus by 2008, and is assumed to have been installed in all ships of that class.
Part of the 'gift' of knowledge was the ability to build the ACC. Additionally, a holographic Asgard was at the disposal of anyone who wanted to use the ACC, so as to enable them to use it even without understanding the technology.

Maybe we have different ideas when we talk about the Asgardcore. The Daedalus has an Asgard computer on board and Hermiod who controls the Asgard features. But the core that is installed on the Odyssey in Unending (10x20) and that is integrated in all shipsystems is unique. It is never mentioned that it has been duplicated and installed on the other BC-304s. The beaming technology, the shields and the asgard weapons are additional upgrades that don't require an Asgardcore like the one on the Odyssey.

I watched the episode again and  there is an Asgard core on the Daedalus indeed. To what extent it is identical with the one on the Odyssey is ambiguous. But the Asgard database that is connected with the Asgard core on the Odysseys is unique.

It is very foolish to 'store' the Asgard database solely on the Odyssey. Being that the Odyssey is 'easily destroyed' (you know what I mean, not easily, but it stands to reason it is always in danger of being destroyed). ;)
