I know its a big adjustment with speed between planets. Lets get realistic though guys the speed was really fast. Few sectors over was still 2min travel time.
Might as well just make it instant instead of waiting 5 minutes.

This change separates space travel more with gate travel too. I'm not trying to ruin the game. Trying to make it make more sense. The merchant faster travel for trade is now more useful this way as well as the advance tech.

Buying from the market will now take bit longer for players to build their fleets. This is good makes the market not as over powered when you are sending a attack. Who wants to send an attack knowing someone is going to buy a ton of naq and its placed on a single planet in minutes.

Space Mines. so ya lots of people upset about the space mines change. Working on a better solution. I get that people need time to sleep. I totally get that. But we were also in a situation where a player builds tons of space mines making them pretty much invincible. Having so much time to reinforce their planets. where sneek attacks just is never a thing.

Would it really be so bad if players trade planets more often in the game. Right now we have one war a year. People get bored the entire year until a war out breaks. Would it be so bad that fighting becomes more regular in the game. I have majorly decreased losses in the game as everyone knows. If someone takes your planet just go take it back. You got another 6 to 12 hours even after their fleet lands.

so this is where my head is at for the game.

I'm working on some more building changes and I will be making destorying buildings and changing them free. so players can adjust to the changes with out any cost.


other changes thats coming in.

advance tech will slowly reduce so players have to either take science points from enemy planets or keep small amount to maintain how many advance tech they have. they can still pump a laboratories at the start but will need to keep a small percentage to keep what they have or steal it by bombarding. The percentage needed would of course rise the more advance tech they have.

homes
give homes a efficiency bonus. so they are still useful when a planet maxs out. also have them protect population from dying from plague and other things.

some population dies during siege. also plan more population destruction stuff.

security building. detect spydrone chance will doubled and max changed to 50 percent. so now 10 percent gives 20 percent. which alot mire useful.
death to soldiers will double too
removing naq and resources protection. stealing has reduced quite a bit
Like to give this building a 3rd stat. One idea is to use it as a way to capture prisoners' during battle. so its a way to decrease your losses in battle even more when defending.

soldiers no longer give infiltration bonus. this old stat just doesn't work in the game anymore.

thought about also giving stargate operations resources protection and naq mines naq protection.
