Well I have had Astro Wars running for about 3 years now and one year it was kind a inactive before it went back to active again. Anyways with much long thought of consideration I've decided to add pay to win items in the store.
This game just isn't going anywhere as it lays. Maybe one day when I retire I'll try removing the pay to win model and I'll have the money then to throw thousands of dollars into advertising. The revolver door is so fast in this game. We seen thousands of players come into the game a 9 out of 10 leave with in the first few minutes and the rest either leave just from not keeping up with the game or being fed on from larger players. Even if that's the case it take for ever to build a player base. I don't want to go down that hard journey. I had plans of doing it though but with how many players turned the game away so fast its just isn't worth it. I'm not a rich person. My studio is $100,000 in debt and at some point id love to finish my damn house. I don't even have health care and as of yesterday I now drive my car with out insurance. I'm a full time game developer and I want to keep it like that.
I'm inserting weekly deals in the store. Players can only spend so much per week. Spending will spread production points across planets. so you wont be able to just build a ton of ships before a attack happens. I'm going to keep bombarding on. this way non spenders still have a heck of a chance by bombarding and can become quite successful with time attacking.
Those who don't wish to stay. I wish you a good fare well and thank you for playing my redevelopment of Astro Wars. One thing that really pisses me off over everything. Is people playing the fair to play version and exploiting bugs or cheating in the game with multi's.
About 70 percent of the player base we have are cheating in some way. Which just tells me what's the point of having fair to play if apparently everyone wants a upper hand anyways. So its like Im saying I'm done and I'm out and I need to pay my bills. Game didn't make a single dollar this month.
I'm working on adding in computer players in so the player base gets thicken nicely.
Sorry for the bad news if it even is bad news. Maybe just to some. My other game System Lords does really well and its pay to win. If anything this will probably make the game more active.

I will still try it but it was supposed to start at 5:45 am my time and I can't login despite updating the game a couple times.

I'll have it start at a decent hour. Should be accessible by tomorrow just wanna make sure IOS is released.
No updates I did should be effecting log in?

There is no galaxy to click on. Like before you clicked on "milky way". The battle server is also not an option to click on and before it was.

Ya I have Milky Way hidden and battle royale is disabled atm.
