Can't build laboratory

So, I was wondering how to do research. And I need building called Laboratory, however, the build menu doesn't offer any kind of this building.
Does anyone know what may caused this? Or maybe it will be unlocked in the future?

I am playing only one day, so I am noobie.

Only non gated worlds gives you the option to build laboratories. Pretty sure this is explained in the guide under buildings.
Laboratories are secrete facilities so they are better protected on worlds not known of. Which is usually a non gated world.

What ever you can do or dream you can always begin it because boldness has genius, power and magic in it
