Ok taking planets is now impossible. Well not at current game stage, however with the new update it&#039;s impossible to take planets at beginning. It takes Jaffa to take planet, yet at beginning you can&#039;t even build Jaffas until you have A LOT of resources and naq (it is a lot for 1 planet). <br /><br />Why not leave the units that are now crucibles to take over a planet? 20% of population - it worked fine I thought?<br /><br />~N

you start the game out with 100 jaffa. Plus im building start out tutors so getting 3 planets wont be difficult. 15k resources is pretty easy to get once you have 3 planets.<br /><br />

So it won&#039;t be 100 crucibles? Still - taking planets wasn&#039;t easy, nor cheap, before - and now it&#039;s 5x more expensive. You need 5% of population, opposed to 20%, however those 5% are 20x more expensive.<br /><br />Furthermore - unless tutorials get you planets without jaffas - it will be pretty much impossible to take them still. Yes it isn&#039;t a lot once you have 3 planets, but that is if you can get the 3 planets ;)<br />Wouldn&#039;t it also, perhaps, be smart that building barracks would give you about 10% of your crucible warriors per cycle as jaffas? So that means if you get 100 crucibles per cycle, after building barracks you&#039;d get either 90 crucibles and 10 jaffas or 100 crucibles and additional 10 jaffas?<br /><br />~N

you get your planets while you are in protection. the player will be taking a planet with 1000 slaves that has no defense on the planet. The whole point of this update is to make jaffa more superior and harder to get. Losing jaffa when you take over a planet might be taken out and something else put into place.
