lol. Well in the case of RP.. I often dislike it when people have symbols and numbers in their names unless they're RP'ing robots.. have you ever heard of King Robertjone5673? Was there an LOTR character called Xx~Legup~xX?

Right? I mean, just use a random name generator if the name you picked was already taken. ;) But even then, "Imagod Winningitall" is a bit of a sad name. :P

RP names are different from XBox handles, MWII callsigns etc, in that RP names are generally names, and the others just 'unique strings of characters'. After all, in RPs you expect people to call you by your name.. and being called "Oh, great Lord Bob14.." just does not sound like "Oh, great Lord Semper". :P

See? A lot better. :P Anyway, that is only a small fraction of RP, of course.
What is your characters history? It will be hard to write a history without interfering with the histories of others.. I mean, if I were to write mine, I would have to leave out my affair with Apep, Telchek and Anubis.. as well as -probably- my Ancient origins (having been taken by one of the very first Goa'uld after my Puddlejumper crashed and burned up above P3X-888. How do you think those Unas-Goa'uld learned to use the Stargate? Not because of their stellar intellect, but because of mine. ;)
