I personally think all units should be able to be recycled,
but for free players they should only get 25 percent the naq cost while paid players get 80 percent of the costs,
this keeps the balance and reason to invest in the game while allowing the unneeded ships to be liquidated when naq is more important,
or if you simply wanted to clear one type of unit to make room for a different type of unit without having to wait to send them on a suicide mission to kill them off.
