I dunno, some of the episodes towards the end of season 4 were darker than the best of harry potters dark moments (to channel another thread). A mentally damaged Darth Maul, rise of the living night sisters being butchered by Grievous, Dooku's curse. It was good.

Big Bang theory is my favourit, but How I met your mother is not far behind. <br />Still there is nothing out there which could beat SG1. Oh wait i forgot SGA ;)
