more stargate defense or not new updates

on stargated planets do i need more defense for stargate or do i still put more turrent defense pls help

The answers are in the Patch Notes tab of the game:

1:24 am June 30 - Staff turrets no longer work against attacks through the Stargate.

Staff turrets now do 5000 damage instead of 1000

Stargate defense now provides 5000 defense per level of stargate defense

Exactly what part of Yes are you not understanding? They can each have 100 points in them. You have a total of 400 points you can spend. I fail to see where the confusion is here.
