Can't reclaim lost planet?

So, I've recently gotten out of newbie protection and wound up having two of my planets taken from me. No big deal, it's part of the game, but what I don't understand is that when I try to send my own fleet to retake the planet, the game tells me that the player currently occupying my planet is in protected status. Why/How is that? If he's outside of my ability to attack, shouldn't the reverse be true as well?

Was this a planet you had owned, or simply had seiged?

I had owned both of them. 100,000 slaves, numerous turrets, 50 jaffa on one, 100 on another...

When someone attacks you, or you attack them, you are supposed to be tagged to each other for 7 days.


The only time where none of that matters is in a vacant planet, as in you have 1 jaffa just sitting on a planet owned by noone and he takes it with 5 jaffa.


I would ask shadowing about it

I guess it is possible that some guy took it from you and than someone else took it from him and then went out of your net range...
